US blood testing market, 2024 to 2033 (projected), ~8.1% annual growth.1

Bloodwork as a Service for the businesses your clients already trust.
Gyms, med spas, clinics, dietitians, chiropractors and coaches tell clients to “get your labs done” every day. Then the client leaves, and so does the revenue. Atomic Health is building the platform that lets them offer physician-ordered lab panels under their own brand, deliver clear results, and keep the relationship.

The problem
The gap between “get your labs done” and actually getting them done.
Health businesses own the trust, the frequency and the conversation. What they don't have is a way to order a test, a lab to run it, or a compliant way to explain the results. So the recommendation goes nowhere.
- 1
Recommend
A coach, clinician or spa provider suggests bloodwork to a client they see every week.
- 2
Refer out
The client is told to ask their doctor or try a consumer app. Weeks pass. Many never test.
- 3
Lose it
Any results arrive as a PDF nobody can act on, under someone else's brand. The business earns nothing.
The same pattern shows up across fitness, aesthetics and nutrition. The advice is already being given, but nothing makes it measurable.
Why they can't fix it themselves
- Ordering authority. Most panels need a licensed clinician to order them. A gym can't open a lab account.
- State-by-state rules. Direct-access testing, corporate-practice and fee rules vary by state.
- Logistics. Draw sites, kits, results normalization and secure delivery are an operations job.
- Interpretation. Clients want to know what to do. That takes clinician oversight, not a PDF.
Market opportunity
A proven cash-pay category with no turnkey channel for local health businesses.
Consumers already pay out of pocket for bloodwork, and the largest labs and best-funded startups are growing fast. The US direct-to-consumer lab segment alone is estimated at $1.2B–$2.8B for 2025.25,26 But the businesses with the most client trust are still on the sidelines.
Quest Diagnostics' consumer-initiated testing revenue in 2025. Its direct storefront grew ~35% to a ~$100M run rate.2

of US patients have pursued a blood test without a doctor's recommendation. 89% are interested in tests that predict health risk.12
Americans belonged to a fitness facility in 2025, a record, across ~55,300 US locations.6,7

≈ $3.2B a year in panel sales could flow through businesses that can't offer labs today.
Base case across six channels: gyms, med spas, functional medicine, dietitians, chiropractors and employer wellness. The range is $1.3B to $7.4B. At a 30% partner share, that's roughly $1B a year in revenue those businesses are missing.

Estimate, not a forecast. It multiplies sourced counts of businesses and clients6,8,11,19–22 by our assumptions: client adoption rates, one $249 panel per client per year ($149 for employers), and a 30% partner share. Panel price is chosen from current cash-pay list prices of $99–$405.23,24 Personal-training clients overlap with gym members and are excluded. The full methodology is available on request.
What's it worth to one business?
Try the math for a single location. The defaults are an average US gym: ~1,465 members per location, derived from 81M members across ~55,300 locations.6,7

How it works
Five layers, one partner-branded experience.
Atomic Health handles the regulated, operational work in the background. The partner's brand stays in front, the way a payments processor sits behind a checkout.
- 01
Order
The partner picks a panel: foundational, performance, metabolic, hormone or women's health. An independent physician network reviews and places each order.
- 02
Fulfill
CLIA-certified partner labs run the tests through national draw sites, with at-home options where they're analytically valid.
- 03
Deliver
Results arrive normalized and in the partner's brand, with trends across draws. Critical values escalate to the covering clinician.
- 04
Advise
AI-assisted protocols map results to nutrition, training, sleep and supplement guidance, all under clinician review. Decision support only, never diagnosis.
- 05
Monetize
The partner earns on every panel and can add follow-up consults, memberships and protocol-based programs.
Who it serves
Built for the businesses that already have the relationship.
Gyms & studios
Turn “know your numbers” into a premium tier that trainers can program against.
Med spas & wellness clinics
Baseline and follow-up labs for weight-loss, hormone and IV programs, kept in-house.
Functional & integrative practices
A better ordering and client-education workflow, with the economics staying in the practice.
103,800+ clinicians trained by IFM since 1991 (global)22
Dietitians & nutritionists
Biomarker-backed plans without needing ordering privileges or a referring physician.
90,900 US jobs (2024)19
Chiropractors
Measure the nutrition and wellness advice that's already part of the visit.
Trainers & coaches
Role-appropriate, client-friendly reports and talking points. No diagnosing required.
22.6% of gym members used a personal trainer in 202427
Employer wellness
Turnkey biomarker screening for the many employers that don't offer it yet.
Only 22% of firms with 10–199 workers offer biometric screening21
Supplement & digital health brands
A compliant lab-and-protocol layer under your own product. Planned for after the core partner launch.
Roadmap
Business model
Asset-light infrastructure that earns when partners do.
Labs, analyzers and phlebotomists already exist. Atomic Health is the software, partner network and protocol layer on top, so revenue grows with every partner location and every repeat draw.
Per-panel platform fee
A take-rate on each completed panel, with the partner's share built in.
Partner software
A branded client portal, staff seats, panel catalog and payouts for each location.
Protocol memberships
Recurring tracking and updated guidance between draws, shared with the partner.
Commerce attach
Follow-up panels, specialty tests and compliant supplement protocols.
Why now
Every piece is finally in place except the channel.
Cash-pay labs went mainstream
The largest US lab says consumer testing grew more than 20% in 2025, with a margin above its corporate average.2
The category is proven
Function reached a $2.5B valuation. WHOOP added clinician-reviewed labs and raised at $10.1B.3,13,14
The pipes exist
Lab APIs like Junction and practitioner platforms like Fullscript/Rupa show the infrastructure demand is real. The commercial layer for local businesses is still missing.15,16
AI makes guidance scalable
Clinician-reviewed, AI-assisted protocols can turn results into action at a cost a local business can afford. Wearables are 2026's #1 fitness trend.17
Partners are already reaching for it
Equinox subsidizes Function memberships for its members.18 Most of the market can't strike a deal like that.
Consumers are asking
Patients increasingly request tests on their own and say they'd delay imaging over cost before bloodwork.12
Compliance by design
Physician‑ordered. Certified‑lab tested. Clinician‑reviewed.
Licensed ordering
Every panel is ordered by an independent, licensed physician network, never by the partner.
Certified labs
Testing happens only in CLIA-certified partner laboratories. Atomic Health is not a lab.
Clinician in the loop
AI-assisted guidance is decision support, reviewed by clinicians, with flagged results escalated.
Role-based reports
Each partner type sees what fits its scope. A trainer gets talking points, not a diagnosis.
Privacy first
The platform is being designed around HIPAA-grade security, consent and minimum-necessary access.
State-aware
Direct-access and partner-economics rules are handled state by state with healthcare counsel.
